Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Cancelled for 2022

In pre-COVID years, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards offered intensive, yet fun training programs for
high school 9th graders. A combination of seminars, interactive meetings, and hands-on service projects,
RYLAs were held each year in-person and designed for young adults with proven leadership ability
and a commitment to community service.

This year, District 7545 RYLA has been canceled, but future programs will still allow students to discover
their potential and help develop the skills needed to be a leader in their communities, school, and everyday life.

RYLA offers interactive lessons, and fun-filled events that:

  • Develop leadership skills and character
  • Gain exposure to a variety of issues and people
  • Meet active community leaders
  • Learn valuable information and career skills

RYLA participants are nominated by our District Rotary Clubs, and the clubs usually cover all expenses
associated with the weekend-long program.

Registration forms for the 2023 Rotary District 7545 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference,
scheduled for May will be posted after the beginning of the new Rotary year.
