DISTRICT CONFERENCE 2026

What to expect at the
2026 district conference

May 29-30, 2026 | Camp Dawson, Kingwood, WV

Get ready for a weekend that blends inspiration, celebration, fellowship,

and a true taste of West Virginia hospitality!

The Rotary District 7545 Conference is designed to energize Rotarians from across the state—bringing us together to share ideas, recognize service, build new connections, and celebrate the incredible impact our clubs are making locally and globally. Whether you’re coming for the speakers, the fellowship, the fun—or all of the above—you can expect a memorable experience from start to finish.

Inspiring Speakers & District Celebration

Our program will feature engaging and thought-provoking speakers who embody Rotary’s spirit of Service Above Self. From leadership insights to service stories that spark new ideas, you’ll leave motivated and ready to bring fresh energy back to your club.

The weekend will also include one of our most meaningful traditions—the induction of our next District Governor, Julie Sawyer—a moment of pride and excitement as we look ahead to the future of Rotary in our District.

Your Stay & Lodging Information

Lodging for the conference will be reserved through DACdb, Rotary’s official event registration system. All room reservations must be made through DACdb. Once you’re registered, you’ll receive a follow-up email confirming your reservation and providing you additional details surrounding your stay. A credit card will be required at check-in. Check-in and lodging services will be handled on-site at the Camp Dawson Event Center. Check out Camp Dawson’s Website to see where you’ll be staying!

Fun, Fellowship & Local Adventures

Conference weekend isn’t all speakers—there’s plenty of time to relax, explore, and connect with fellow Rotarians.

During free time on Saturday, guests can enjoy the charm and natural beauty of the Preston County area, including:

Scenic outdoor spaces and river views, local shops and Self-guided History Tour

Short excursions for hiking, sightseeing, or relaxing drives.

All nearby attractions perfect for a quick afternoon adventure. We’ll also provide suggestions and ideas on-site so you can make the most of your free time.

Conference
Dining

While the Camp Dawson Event Center features both a restaurant and cafeteria on-site, all conference meals will be catered by Rotary

as part of the official conference agenda. From breakfasts to banquets, you can expect thoughtfully planned meals that bring everyone together—because some of the best conversations at Rotary happen around the table. Special dietary needs will be accommodated during registration, so please be sure to note any requirements in DACdb when you sign up.

2026 District Conference Service Project

All donated items will be collected during the District Conference and transported to a Tech for Troops location.

Work as a club to gather your items or bring them individually! An email will be sent out prior to the conference with drop off location and times.

House of Friendship

The Rotary House of Friendship is a central, high-energy, networking hub at Rotary District Conferences around the world!

Designed for members to connect, share project ideas, and foster collaboration, it serves as an exhibition space for showcasing service projects, Action Groups, and Rotarian fellowships.
